Eating At The Bell
This includes our delicious steaks, and also our fish and shellfish which can be found on our menu under Specials.
Our open kitchen with it's huge, wood-burning oven, allows the guests to watch a vibrant modern kitchen in action. A viewing window into the wood oven even allows customers to watch their food cooking - our pizza is the best you can eat anywhere!
Micro-herbs
The Bell is now working with OX3 Greens, Oxford’s first Vertical Farm, to enhance many of our dishes with uniquely flavoursome micro herbs. OX3 Greens uses technology to replicate the sun, wind, and rain, creating the perfect habitat to grow an array of fresh greens within 5 miles of The Bell. Plants which otherwise would be sourced from several miles away!
This novel approach to agriculture is truly sustainable. Plants are grown without pesticides or preservatives and there is no need to interfere with any natural habitats. All herbs are grown to order and so there are no wasted inputs along the way. Delivery within just hours of harvest means that all products arrive fresh crisp and ready for the Bell kitchen. We believe this really adds something different to our menu.
We offer a Sunday lunch menu which changes each week.
See below for a sample menu.
